The Careers and Enterprise Company’s annual summary of the careers education taking place in England “The State of the Nation” was published recently, and four main themes emerged from the report. 1. Careers education is improving everywhere; 2. The new careers hubs and Enterprise Adviser Network are delivering accelerated progress; 3. Young people’s skills and work readiness are improving as a result of the increased interventions being made; 4. Schools, colleges and businesses now work together on a national scale, enabled by a new workforce of Careers Leaders. More on this here.
