Thank you to all our members who attended the latest SCTP members’ conference at Clair Hall in Haywards Heath on 19 September. Members heard presentations from Ray Shilling from Creative Education about T Levels and the potential they will have for progression onto higher level apprenticeships, Julie Hyde, from NCFE, about the technical education landscape and qualifications development. Tom Pollitt from Eversheds Sutherland presented members with a legal perspective on subcontracting regulations. We also heard from our conference sponsors, Andy Howie from e-learning WMB about blended learning and Jacqui Brown from Learning Curve Group about the opportunities available to work with them.
Members had the chance to network and discuss issues around education technology, T levels, functional skills and subcontracting. Notes from the conference will be issued to members shortly, the presentations from the speakers will be available on the members resources page of the SCTP website.
The next members’ conference will be held at Crawley College on 21 November, 09:30 – 13:00.
