New funding announced by the government for schools has been announced which includes £2.6 billion for 2020/21 academic year. As part of this, every secondary school will receive a minimum of £5000 per pupil next year, and every primary school getting a minimum of £4000 from 2021/22. It also includes £700 million extra for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in 2020/21.
