The results of AELP’s survey of training providers about SME non-levy apprenticeship funding have been published. The responses to the survey showed that three out of four apprenticeship training providers felt they can no longer meet demand from SME employers to train new apprentices. The survey also revealed that a quarter of respondents have had to turn away a prospective new SME employer and 17% have stopped recruiting apprentices altogether for new and existing SME employers.
