The ESFA has updated its guidance around financial assurance reviews with a letter issued to providers stating that it plans to give providers between two and four weeks’ notice of an assurance review visit and 3 to 5 working days notice of the sample of learner files they will want to see. The visits may take place at any point during the funding year, as well as after the funding year. More on this new system can be read here.
