Following the news last week from the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE) that they will start charging a £40 fee for apprenticeship quality assurance, the Federation of Awarding Bodies has raised concerns on behalf of end-point assessment organisations (EPAOs) to the IfATE about the decision and the way it was announced and communicated.
