Little Gate Farm is a charity supporting young people with autism/learning disabilities in possession of an Education Health Care Plan. They have received a lottery grant of £425,000 to launch a supported apprenticeship and traineeship programme across East Sussex over the next 5 years. Their role is to find the employer that will suit the specific trainee, provide a job coach and then appoint a training provider. They already have several apprenticeships up and running and have just agreed a new one for childcare in the Lewes area. They are looking for a training provider who is able to deliver a supported apprenticeship programme, who has an understanding of young people with autism or learning disabilities. Little Gate Farm already have the young person, the job coach and the agreement from the employer, but now need to find a childcare provider who can deliver the training. Please contact vanessapotter@sctp.org.uk if you can help.
