Dr Philip Augar, and fellow panel members from the Review of Post-18 Education and Funding, appeared before the House of Lords Science and Technology Committee to answer questions about whether the panel considered how their recommendations would affect universities’ research budgets, and their other functions such as their role in communities and enhancing social mobility.
