The Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE) has announced that it will start charging £40 for every apprenticeship external quality assurance (EQA) check it does from September. Ofqual have said that they will continue not charging for the service and would continue to do so if their role was extended to be the only EQA provider. Full details are here.
