The ESFA has published new guidance on the Industry Placement Capacity and Delivery Fund (CDF) for 2019/20. The CDF was introduced last year to ensure high quality industry placements can be delivered before T Levels are introduced in 2020, which industry placements will be a compulsory part of. They expect providers to use the investment available through the CDF to effectively build capacity and establish links with employers. The guidance for the CDF for 2019/20 for those providers in receipt of an allocation from the CDF in 2018/19 has also been updated.
