Employer Support for Youth Employment Report Published

by | 0 comments

The All-Party Parliamentary Group for Youth Employment has presented their newly published report to the Minister for State for Apprenticeships and Skills, Anne Milton, which highlights the impact of employer support on youth employment. The report recommends that a cross government task force is created to develop a joined-up, long-term strategy for youth services and employment. It also highlights the need for apprenticeship and skills training reform to prevent the further decrease in 16-18 year-old starts and Level 2 and 3 starts. It also recommends that SMEs are better supported to deliver against the government’s youth employment strategy. You can read more about the report here.
