The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) has published a report entitled ‘Fit for the Future: Making the Apprenticeship System Work for Small Businesses‘ looking at the impact of the apprenticeship reforms on small businesses across England. The report outlines that 27% of apprentice employers surveyed believed the reforms have had a negative impact on their business. The report outlines some recommendations to government to help stop small businesses turning away from apprenticeships. Findings and comment on the report can be read here.
