Ofqual are consulting on planned changes to the guided learning requirement for reformed Functional Skills qualifications. They state that the Minister for Apprenticeships and Skills has agreed that the number of hours of guided learning for reformed functional skills qualifications in English and maths should be set at 55. They are proposing to make a minor change to their rules and guidance to include this requirement and are seeking views on the way they are proposing to change their Conditions and on the likely impact of their proposals. The consultation closes on 30 April 2019.
