The Learning and Work Institute have published a report called ‘Time for Action: Skills for economic growth and social justice’, researching into learning and skills and how they play a key role in driving economic growth and contribute to social justice. The report states that the rate of improvement in the UK’s skills base has stalled and that the UK is poised to slip further down the international league tables.
