The National Audit Office (NAO) has published a new report assessing whether the apprenticeship programme is providing value for money. The report concludes that the government has some way to go before it can demonstrate that the programme is achieving value for money or that resources are being used to best effect. An article from the NAO about their findings is here and sector response to the report can be read here.  An article outlining the seven key findings from the report is here, and the Skills Minister’s response to the report is reported here.
