We will be taking photos/films on the day of the graduation event to share with attendees. We would also like to use these photos/films for our social media pages and for our website. Event attendees including sponsors, employers and training providers in attendance may also share these photos/films on their social media pages and websites to promote the event and to promote apprenticeships. SCTP will also use photos/films for digital and printed promotional materials related to this and future graduation events including a press release that will be shared in partnership with East Sussex County Council. If you do not want your photo to be used in this way please email ESapprenticeships@sctp.org.uk.

Privacy Notice (Legitimate interest) SCTP is the data controller for purposes of the Data Protection Act (2018) and is committed to protecting your personal data. As a data controller we have a responsibility to make sure you know why and how your personal information is being collected in accordance with relevant data protection law.
Why we are processing your data
We are collecting your data for the purpose of administering the Apprenticeship Graduation Ceremony. The information you provide will be used to process your booking. We will also use it to contact you regarding your booking. We may also contact you to undertake post-event evaluation. Your graduation details including your name, your training provider, and your apprenticeship title and level, will be included in the event roll call presentation and in the event printed brochure.
We have lawful basis for collection and use of this data under Legitimate Interest. The legitimate interest in question is the promotion of the value of apprenticeships to the residents. Your data may be shared with your training provider/college to confirm your registration and achievement of your apprenticeship. We will hold your data for 12 months after the event.
