Privacy Notice (Legitimate interest & Consent)
SCTP is the data controller for purposes of the Data Protection Act (2018) and is committed to protecting your personal data. As a data controller we have a responsibility to make sure you know why and how your personal information is being collected in accordance with relevant data protection law.
Why we are processing your data
We are collecting your data for the purpose of administering these events. The contact information you provide will be used to process your booking. We will also use it to contact you regarding your booking, and where relevant, send post event information. Access and dietary information provided will help us meet your needs during the event. We have lawful bases for collection and use of this data under both Consent and Legitimate Interest. The legitimate interest in question is the development of apprenticeship practice within Sussex.
Information Sharing
Anonymised aggregated data will be shared with the University of Sussex and Office for Students and your personal data will not be able to be identifiable from this. Registration is managed by Eventbrite, who collect your information and share it with us.

Photography
SCTP and the University of Sussex will be taking photos at the event. These images may be used by SCTP and the University of Sussex in the following ways: printed event publicity, online event publicity (including Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter), use in general publicity related to the promotion of apprenticeships, inclusion in post event resources and reports. The images will be stored securely and will not be kept for longer than they are needed for the purposes listed above.
