The Department for Education has announced a £24 million support package with the aim of strengthening the FE workforce and help to level up skills and opportunities across the country. The investment includes £11 million to provide bursaries and grants worth up to £26,000 to attract people to train to teach in FE; a £10 million expansion of the Taking Teaching Further programme and £3 million for mentor training programmes.
