Becoming a member of SCTP will provide your business with access to valuable information, networking, representation and development opportunities.

Benefits of Membership

SCTP membership entitles you to:

• Gain business by displaying your company’s Apprenticeship services at www.apprenticeships-in-sussex.com


• Attend members meetings. These provide an excellent opportunity to hear from speakers on the issues of the day and for the exchange of information with other members as well as a chance to influence how your network is run.


• Receive regular information on national, regional and local developments in work-based learning and the operation of your network via our e-mail distribution list and this website.


• Participate in training events and seminars.


• Quality development activities including access to support via the Learning and Skills Improvement Service.


• Benefit from the individual and collective representation of members interests at local, regional and national level.


• Participate in development projects that are open to members, and where appropriate, access funding for activities such as marketing and quality development. Latest activities relate to supporting members with improving success rates and strategic development.


• The potential opportunity to represent SCTP in its liaison work with relevant bodies such as the Learning and Skills Council, Local Authorities, NAS and the merging SFA and YPLA etc

Most importantly SCTP gives you the opportunity to have influence over the issues that impact upon your organisation.

Membership Fee & Application Form

Annual membership runs 1st November to 31st October at a rate of £450 for the 2011-12 year. Organisations that do not deliver Government funded work-based learning can join as Associate members at a rate of £280 for the 2011/12 year. Pro rata discounts are available for those wishing to join during the membership year.
