ABOUT SCTP
SCTP exists to represent training organisations that deliver Government funded training programmes. It aims to represent its members’ interests, support and inform members in the development of their businesses and act as a catalyst for innovation and the acquisition of funding.

There is a diversity in the membership of SCTP which includes:
- College work based learning departments
- Local, regional and national independent training providers
- Apprenticeship, Foundation Learning and Train To Gain providers.
- Welfare to Work providers
SCTP works closely with FE Sussex, the organisation that represents wider FE College provision, with collaborative activities managed by a Joint Board.
Membership meetings and Board Meetings take place every two months. See the calendar page for meeting dates.
The organisation is run by a Board of 5 elected Directors elected from the membership led by a Chair and Vice Chair, supported by an Executive Director.
