ESF 2011 – 2013: Over £200 million available for
Family Oriented Support for People in Workless Households.
Ministers have decided that 75% of the ESF
available for 2011 – 2013, over £200 million, should fund family
oriented provision for people in problem families and workless
households. This will add value to local
authority and community support by
addressing employment barriers alongside other services that are
helping with their wider family and social problems. The Department
for Work and Pensions (DWP) are hoping to begin procurement in the
Spring. This is in addition to the Work Programme contracts
and will be procured from DWP framework providers.
This conference will be an opportunity for participants to be
informed both on the latest developments and opportunities within
the current ESF programme and plans for what the future holds for
the Structural Funds post 2013.
